General Terms and Conditions of Sale
This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
These general terms and conditions govern transport services booked with ALPS LINK TRANSFERS, a brand operated by Maxime RIGAUD, a sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) (SIREN 838 851 020), under the trade name MAXCAB4U.
1. Booking
A service is considered booked after express confirmation by ALPS LINK TRANSFERS by telephone, email or any other agreed means. The customer must provide accurate information about the journey, date, time, number of passengers, luggage and any special requirements.
2. Rates
The rates published on the website are reference rates for the journeys listed and services booked in advance. The price confirmed at the time of booking takes precedence. A specific rate may apply depending on the exact address, requested detours, luggage volume, special equipment or a change of route.
The daytime rate applies from 08:00 to 20:00. Night-time, Sunday and public holiday rates are shown separately on the Rates page.
3. Payment
Payment may be made by bank card, cash or bank transfer. A business invoice may be issued on request.
4. Vehicles and capacity
The vehicles shown on the website illustrate vehicle categories. An equivalent vehicle may be assigned depending on availability. The stated capacity also depends on the volume and format of the luggage. ALPS LINK TRANSFERS may recommend a higher category or several vehicles.
5. Schedules, flights and waiting time
The customer must allow for a pick-up time compatible with their flight, train or appointment. When flight details are provided, the actual arrival time may be monitored so that the pick-up can be adjusted, subject to operational constraints and the agreed conditions.
Additional waiting-time charges
For any airport pick-up, ALPS LINK TRANSFERS includes 60 minutes of free waiting time from the actual landing time of the flight provided at booking.
For pick-ups at other locations, 15 minutes of free waiting time are included from the confirmed appointment time.
Beyond these periods, any additional waiting time is charged at €10 including VAT for each started 15-minute period, provided that this condition was brought to the customer’s attention before the booking was confirmed.
Exceptional situations may be subject to a specific arrangement agreed between the customer and ALPS LINK TRANSFERS.
6. Changes and cancellations
Any change or cancellation must be reported as soon as possible in writing to contact@alpslinktransfers.com or by SMS/WhatsApp to +33 7 71 93 89 91. The time limit is calculated from the time the request is received by ALPS LINK TRANSFERS. A change takes effect only after express confirmation.
Cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. If cancellation takes place less than 48 hours and at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, 50% of the confirmed total price of the service is due. If it takes place less than 24 hours before pick-up, 100% of the confirmed total price is due. A commercial gesture may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
If the customer fails to appear at the agreed place and time, or cannot be contacted at the end of the free waiting time provided for in Article 5, the confirmed total price is due. In accordance with Article 1231-5 of the French Civil Code, a judge may reduce or increase the agreed penalty if it is manifestly excessive or derisory.
If the flight provided at booking is cancelled by the airline, no cancellation fee will be applied upon presentation of supporting evidence and provided that the customer informs ALPS LINK TRANSFERS as soon as possible. A flight delay or change of schedule must be reported as soon as possible; by itself, it does not constitute cancellation of the service.
7. Luggage and personal belongings
The customer is responsible for their personal belongings. Unusual luggage, skis, bulky equipment, pushchairs or child seats must be reported before booking so that a suitable vehicle can be arranged.
Child seats and booster seats are provided. Please request them when booking and state the children’s ages so that a suitable seat can be arranged.
8. Conduct and safety
Passengers must comply with safety instructions and respect the vehicle and the driver. ALPS LINK TRANSFERS may refuse or interrupt a service when the safety of people or the vehicle cannot be guaranteed.
9. Force majeure and traffic
ALPS LINK TRANSFERS cannot be held liable for the consequences of unforeseeable external events or exceptional traffic conditions beyond its control. The provider will nevertheless take reasonable steps to inform the customer and provide the service in the best possible conditions.
10. Complaints and consumer mediation
Any complaint may be sent to contact@alpslinktransfers.com.
After a prior written complaint has remained unresolved amicably, the consumer may refer the matter to the consumer mediator:

12. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, subject to the mandatory rules applicable to consumers.
